Sesame Seeds Milk
"Refresco de Ajonjoli"
3 cups water
1 cup sesame seeds (rinsed after soaking overnight)
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Pinch of salt
Add seeds to blender along with the 3 cups of water. Blend for 1-2 minutes on high until smooth. Pour into a strainer or nut milk bag. Squeeze gently until all the liquid is extracted. Pour the filtered milk back into the blender with all other ingredients and blend for 1 minute. The sesame milk tastes best cold; refrigerate for 30 mins. You will need to stir before drinking as the ingredients will settle to the bottom.
Yield: 4 cups
